Documentary family photography is something we really love. Capturing families just being them, interacting naturally, without any posing or staged moments. Just letting your kids be kids with us taking photos along the way. It’s fun, and beautiful, and such an honour.

The Kerstens family are near and dear to our heart. We have been involved in these kids lives from the start so they are like family to us. They are adventurous, energetic, and fearless. So a stormy winters day doesn’t phase them when it comes to adventuring outdoors. Undeterred by the rain and wind, we headed to the beach. They explored the sand dunes, ran through the waves, got drenched and muddy and exhausted, and all-in-all had an amazing time.
Family Photography Pricing
Documentary family photography sessions are $850 for 1 hour of me joining your family, capturing you just the way you are. Whether you are playing in your house, going to the beach, or going on a family trip with the grandparents, my goal is to capture your family dynamic and all the idiosyncrasies that make your family unique.
Travel within the Wellington region is included in the price. You will receive a full online gallery of digital photos that you can send to anyone you like, and download as many times as you like.
All the digital photos are ready for you to print or post online. We love seeing photos in print, so you don’t have to get your photos printed through us. You can get your photos printed anywhere you like, and we are happy to help point in the direction of some cheap family photography printing options.
